Marana® Forni for over twenty years has been the Official technical Sponsor of the World Pizza Championships (as well as the French, Belgian and Spanish Championships), providing these events with experience and technological developments in the field. This is why Marana® pizza ovens are synonymous with quality and have been chosen for many years by the top master pizza chefs in the world.

THE IDEA

A simple idea that revolutionised the pizza world! Marana® Forni was based on a very simple but highly effective idea of its founder, Ferdinando Marana, who grasped the usefulness of an oven capable of baking not only pizzas without manual intervention at the same time as increasing productivity and the quality of the final product. The real stroke of genius came a few years later thanks to continuous research into pizza ovens carried out by Marana® Forni: rotation and the possibility of lifting the cooking surface. The first SU&GIU® rotary oven by Marana® was built in 1992 and patented by Ferdinando Marana. The Marana® Forni brand interprets technology at the service of tradition, marking important stages in the history of pizza ovens thanks to the advent of the Marana® SU&GIU® rotary pizza oven. Marana pizza ovens were soon installed throughout Italy, Europe and in more than 60 countries world-wide.
